How to allow access to your camera and microphone
For use with Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari, or from the mobile app on
Apple and Android Devices
If you use Google Chrome
Step 1 - Start the telehealth call

Step 2 - Give the site permission to access your computer's camera and microphone
You will see this pop-up in the upper left corner of the URL bar once the page is finished loading.

Select "Allow" to give the site access to your camera

You can also click the lock next to the URL to trigger this pop-up
If you do not see the pop-up, the camera and microphone may be blocked for this website.​

Go to Chrome Settings

At the top right of a chrome browser, click the three vertical dots

Click Settings​​​​​

​Click the Privacy and security section in the left side bar

Click Site Settings​​​​​​​

- ​​​​​Under the Permissions section, click Camera
- ​Turn Ask before accessing ON​​​​
- Perform the same action for the microphone

Once you have performed the above steps you will need to refresh for the changes to take effect

At the top right of a Firefox browser, click the horizontal lines

Click Preferences on a Mac computer, or Options on Windows computer

Go to camera and microphone Settings

Click the Privacy and security section in the left side bar

Scroll down to the Permission section

Click Settings to the right of Camera

Configure camera Settings

Under the Website column, find the site URL

Under the Status column to the right of this site, select Allow

Repeat for the microphone

At the top left of your Apple screen, select Safari next to the apple

Click Preferences on a Mac computer

Go to camera and microphone Settings

Click the Websites section in the top toolbar

Scroll down to the camera listing on the left

Select the website that should be able to use your camera and make sure it is set to Allow

Repeat for the microphone

Once you have performed the above steps you will need to refresh the site for the changes to take effect
If you use the app on an Apple Device
Confirm the device settings are toggled to "On"
Go to the settings app on your Apple Device and scroll down until you find the MyCarePlan app. Confirm Microphone settings and Camera settings are turned on (green is good).
If you use Safari
If you use the app on an Android device
Confirm the device settings are toggled to "On"
Go to the settings app on your device and scroll down until you find the MyCarePlan app. Confirm Microphone settings and Camera settings are turned on (green is good).
